Ghana striker Karim Sadat registered his tenth goal for Landskrona but unfortunately was not enough to save his side from succumbing to a 4-3 home defeat against Elsfborg in the Swedish Cup.

The 25-year-old started the game but was subbed off in the 73rd minute for Dino Mesic.

The away side got off to a terrific start as Jesper Karlsson burst through on goal before firing into the net to make it 1-0 after 6 minutes.

Thierry Zahui equalised for Landskrona in the 20th minute before Ghana striker Sadat netted to give his side the lead for the first time in the match in the 36th minute.

Adi Nalic added another goal for Landskrona to make it 3-1 but two late goals from Elsfborg ensured that the game went into extra time.
The away side then broke the hearts of Sadat and his team-mates after Emir Bajrami grabbed a 114th-minute winner to send Elsfborg to the next round of the Swedish Cup.
Karim Sadat joined Landskrona last year December after a successful stint with Prespa Birlik where he scored 52 goals in 64 appearances.
